Safaga Port
Safaga Harbour is located at the western coast of sea between El Hamrawain and Hurgada. The Port is a large inlet (natural gulf) which is sheltered by natural protection from the east and north directions by Safaga Island. Moreover, it is sheltered from prevailing winds but exposed to southern winds, which cause disturbances and waves at the port. The depths inside the patch of the port are great enough to receive ships having a large draft.
